Liverpool 2003/04 away jersey
Liverpool wore this away in 2003/04. Reebok made it, Carlsberg was on the front: white, red and black.
Finished fourth, and Gérard Houllier's last season in charge.
On the garment, the tell is the black round-neck collar. We read that, the neck label and the tag before we call one original.

The print gets you close, the colour finishes it
Nothing changed on the print. Reebok made every one and Carlsberg sponsored every one, 2000/01 through 2004/05, so these are dated by the shirt itself rather than the badge or the sponsor.
Liverpool wore Reebok with the Carlsberg print in 2000/01, 2001/02, 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2004/05. Only in 2003/04 was the away white, red and black, so the colour settles it. For 2003/04 the tell is the black round-neck collar.
The six checks we run on any jersey — the label code, the sleeve badge, the print, and what none of them prove.
What an early-2000s original costs — real asking prices, and the reproduction price an original has to clear.
