Every Newcastle jersey of the era was adidas, so the sponsor is the tell. Newcastle Brown Ale ended in 2000, NTL ran 2000/01 to 2002/03, and Northern Rock took over from 2003/04.
Newcastle United wore the same home — black and white stripes — in 2000/01, 2001/02 and 2002/03, all under adidas with the NTL print. This one has the V-neck collar, white adidas stripes, but we have not confirmed what the other seasons carried. So the neck label and the tag separate them, and we read those first.
